Yes. But my pipe is 30 Mbps. And typically, I get 3-10 Mbps per second.
As an aside, Speedtest.net also uses Mbps, so even if people don't know what they're actually comparing, they're still generally comparing apples to apples. They just think the apples are potatoes.
In any case, my point is simply that it looks like right now, there's enough bandwidth to max most users pipes, especially if they're near a datacenter or a trunk.
got 85mbps average via FIOS. game downloaded and patched within 10 mins. good shtako!

Was down loading todays patch at 49.87MB/s this morning using Time Warner's cable here on the east coast.
^This. I noticed it as well and holycr*pped, until I noticed it's now registering mbps vice MB/s
...although I don't think Trion's doing it to fool anyone. Possibly to register correctly in the minds that don't know any better and are used to seein mbps from their ISP. The people that know the difference will see it immediately.
I only get about 6.5Mbps for the first 90% then it crawls along at 0.5Mbs for the rest.
Twas on 68.40Mbps![]()
