I realize this isn't RL but it seems to me rocket launchers and grenade launchers are nearly worthless unless your fighting a pack of enemies close together... I do more damage in a 3 round burst from my AR then i do with my rocket launcher (standard, non-lock, non-swarm/cluster) in a shot.

Grenade launchers at least have the element of cover (lob over it, gravity FTW), or bouncing around corners if you have a certain one...

I completely agree. They hit hard as hell and are SUPER accurate. If i use anything except a sniper at long range, I literally do 13 damage per hit while they use their awesome machine guns which hit 85% of their bullets to have me at half shields in a matter of seconds, and that's against ONE dark matter.

If they're gonna have this, they should give us better shields or SOMETHING, I literally find myself having to go into a different build with either an automatic weapon or a shotgun and a bmg in the second slot so I can hopefully kill 1, hide, heal, and then run out for 1 more. Literally died 7 times doing a side mission because of GODLY accurate dark matter mobs.

The best part is when you run into a new Group and you see shots coming in quite a time before the mob reders, you are often at zero shiels before you can even return fire against a Group of them. I actualyl think there is something wrong with there aiming in General, they are far less accurate at Close range, at least it feels far easier to survive for some reason.

Dark Matter: You can't gun down an entire group by standing out in the open shooting them as they run towards you like you can with every other humanoid type. This is usually the biggest shock when you bump into Dark Matter for the first time. All of them use deadly accurate long range weapons.

But that accuracy is also a weakness. This makes them very immobile. They just stand there all day looking through a scope. This makes them super easy to kill with Sniper Rifles as they don't even dodge or weave after being shot. And they are VERY weak in close quarters urban combat. They don't use strong melee weapons, giant mobile shields, suicide bombers, flamethrowers, or super 1 hit kill Launcher spamming units. Every enemy uses a Rifle. You take the fight to close quarters (with cover) and you can just steam roll them with any generic gun; accuracy doesn't help them in Urban combat

The units that create blue / red shields have quite a big weakness as well. If you flank them while their shield is up they just sit there (they don't turn around to face you.) They prioritize keeping that 180 degree shield up while you stand behind them blasting them with head shots. Thus Cloak, Decoy, even Blur makes these guys a piece of cake to flank.

I love the infecter was to op lines ....sigh.

A good escape saved my behind 8 out off 10 times when confronted with a infecter.
I mean common atm a shottie is best choice at the distance infecters have,we can just ask Trion to remove infecters from the game. And while we are at it ask them to make distance for snipers 1 feet shall we.

And yes i played pvp after we could get in servers and was doing fine even without my infector but it hurts as i loved my bugs.
    Now the guns usseles,utter shame.

Lets get the torches and sticks for the next gun we feel kills us to much.

    I use primarily a Saw/Wolfhound setup and I don't feel nerfed.
