Looking for an English speaking EU Clan

Hello, there doesn't appear to be anywhere on the forum dedicated to Clan recruitment and seeing as not many people talk in the game I have found it difficult to find a Clan to join. So I figured I would ask here and see what happens

I am 31 years old and from England and I have been playing defiance since release date and am really enjoying the game but I would like to join a Clan to be able to do Co-op and pvp stuff as I suck at those playing solo.

I have a lot of gaming experience so would be a real asset to a Clan.

Was totally willing to write up a long winded application but I noticed Defiance isn't a selectable option if you aren't a "Friend" of the community. I'm guessing this might be an oversight?
