Tv Show vs Game "What do you think"

Both are great, however I wish there was a stronger story line connection other than a few quests that prelude the tv show... What do you all think? I mean honestly besides "global events" are there going to be any other major connections between the two?

I forgot where, but I've seen mention that characters would leave the show and then appear in the game. They could have some life changing experience in the game and then end up back on the show changed by what happened in the game. I think it's too early to say there isn't a strong enough connection.

I agree, but Im still giving them the benefit of the doubt since it was just the first episode.

Loved the show, and am enjoying the game(cant seem to kill Nim, but will just have to be patient). I don't think there will be as many tie-ins between the two as we want. There are a few articles floating around concerning that. I personally would like to see the types of enemies we fight (99ers, Scrappers, Dark Matter, etc) on the show. That would to me anyway, bring cohesiveness(sp) between the two.

I really enjoyed the show. And I nereded out a little and downloaded SyFy Sync to use during the show. The info was pretty good and there were a few more references to the game.

I thought the show was pretty good. I'm liking both the game and show, and I think the slight connection between the two for now is a good idea. It gives more room to do whatever they want. Just my opinion.

GAME: OK, might keep my attention for a month or 2.
SHOW: Horrible sloppy mess of a story that so far has NO tie into the game at all. The only thing even slightly similar about the 2 is the fact the word DEFIANCE is in the title of both. ..... oh and a Bioman. The Bioman so far is the ONLY thing from the game and the show that tie together....

Oh i know one of you out there is all "BUT BUT He had the crystal taken from him in the Ark Fall that we helped him get in the story mission....

Oh you mean the crystal that didn't even look the same at all in the game vs the show..... oh you mean the crystal I saved Nolan's life to help him get.... then he steals from me and gives me some rifle.... oh that crystal.... G T F O that was such a pathetic tie in I almost wanted to turn the show off right there.

The entire show takes place IN the city of DEFIANCE, a city we have yet to even see. We can all assume that Nolan will be the LAWKEEPER in DEFIANCE when we get there, but the question now is WHEN THE HELL DO WE GET TO DEFIANCE!...

The enemy in the show is a race we have yet to even see in the game, so I can only hope some how they tie whatever mess of a story is going on in the show to the game some how. Otherwise we are playing 2 totally different story archs in the world of DEFIANCE.

The TV show is 100 times better then the game. That and the females look better on TV.
The Show will have ongoing content that will expand much further then the game which will have stagnate content that is repetitive and become boring.
You have 24/7 or so to play the game where as the show comes down to once a week content.
Game content runs out fast and you will have to wait for new content...impossible for them to release new content each week to appease the player base.
