Is it just me or are they trying to screw up the digital version of the game?

First of all there is no digital deluxe edition, witch really isn’t that bad but there really is no reason not to have it. The second screw up is not letting people pre order the game on psn; this makes it so people cannot get the preorder bonuses. For the final and biggest screw up is not letting people pre order the game and the season pass, the reason it’s the biggest is because with the deal going on in psn you could buy both for $100 and get $20 back. I would think that people would jump and the ability to buy the game and the season pass for basically $80 dollars, but that’s just my opinion.

before I say anything you do realise that there is NO digital version of the game as of right now for PS3 right?

1. *shrugs* might be nice but not really a big deal
2. Trion has already gauranteed that everyone will get their preorder bonuses. If you don't get them bug them about it and I am sure that they will do something about it.
3. I think someone mentioned that there is going to be an online PSN version.. but how reliable that info was or when it will happen *shrugs*. lol.. I would jump at the chance for an 80 version with the season pass for sure, but thats not how it is.

If you have only been playing on Alpha and Not Beta, you can apply for the PS3 beta here: http://www.defiance.com/beta

If you pre-ordered the game you can redeem the code that will come with the game to get Beta access. You will not be able to pre-order the PSN digital download version as it will become available at launch.

That said, they haven't said anything about giving pre-order bonuses for orders that are placed after launch, and I wouldn't really expect them to do that because the PS3 physical version can be pre-ordered.

i feel you OP, am sad i can't pre-order the game through PS store because we don't have gamestop, best buy and EB here :/
So am forced to have a standard digital version, it amaze me sometimes how developers ignore easy cash

just got an email from Sony too advertising their Day 1 Digital releases... i wonder why Trion did not go this route? maybe they wont have a digital client for console? too large? DCUO is huge.. idk

Pre-order online, get it mailed to you, then they mail you the pre-order codes.
