This from Moderator Tyrannos. The reason for closure is rational and correct, in my opinion. 50 pages later.
That said, it appears to me that about 90% of the threads here degenerate after about 3 posts.
In addition, 75% of the OPs here are non-constructive, but ranting, insulting, or just whining.
Not to mention the trollers and flamers...
Point is, I like reading posts that are enlightening, informative, and entertaining.
A third grade education is also a plus, but not a requirement because it might eliminate 60% of the posters here.
I'm not in charge of anything here, and I'm not the boss of anyone. So I will only make a humble suggestion that posters try a bit of courtesy and civility, and should at least use one of the three attributes that I mentioned above.
Not meaning to be condescending or snarky [OK, maybe the snarky part]. I appreciate these forums, and have learned a lot from the posters here. I thank you guys for all of the good info that you have provided.
Also, a thank you to the folks that have pulled my butt out of serious danger throughout the gameland. You may just be purple dots, but your timely assistance was much appreciated!
