Coming from some-one who probably has no idea how much work actually goes into making a game, let alone an MMO, that is an utterly laughable statement.

4 years of development does not make a game foolproof. Why do you think such things as Patching and Updates exist? It's never entirely perfect and any game developer who claims it is perfect is a fool as well

I do have an idea. As a matter of fact I am creating my own game at the moment. Its for one of my modules at University. I can also program in c++, c# etc etc.... However i am not a professional. The dev team are! I hope!

I know how difficult it is to make a game. Its mind-boggling how complicated it can become.

Just incase anyone asks, no i am not using gamemaker. I am using a graphics engine called Irrlicht as the base for the game.

anyone who thinks this is one of the smoothest mmo launches really shows they have not tried that many launches. while it is certainly not one of the worst it is not good. i can only assume that they released it before it was ready because of the tie-in with the tv series and being locked in to a release date. considering that, i think the problems are acceptable but it is certainly not in any form or fashion a finished product. the crashes alone have been such a constant problem that on that basis alone you can say it has been a below average launch!

I have played several releases, and this indeed is one of the smoothest I have played. I'm not saying it's flawless or without issue...but as far as server stability, yes...this is one of the smoothest.

This game is getting worse by the minute on connection issues and constant patching to try and keep this sinking game from taking on water.......really!....no eta on when it works again lol...we need to send a message to them that this isnt cool at all.......on top of all this the recent patches nerfs the some of the only decent weapons rather than boosting the under powered (vot disruptor,vbi 200 damage lmg)........frc lmg now nerfed and sub machine guns more powerful than guns 3 times thier size...WTF....i gave them a chance since day one but this is the last straw

I feel your frustration. Don't leave though. I am complaining because I am sick of all the dreadful launches. This game is fun and is differerent to all the MMOs out there. I just hope we can have a stable game soon.

I played in the pc and xbxox 360 beta and it was smoother than the actual launch.
