Killing Dekuso in less than 5 min?

Just wondering is anyone has done this and if so, what weapon did you use? Its the boss at the end of one of the co-op missions and one of the requirements is to beat him in less than 5 minutes. Its damn hard. My ego level is just about 900 and my buddies is a little higher but it takes us (along with two others) at least 25-20 minutes to beat him.

ye was pretty easy with for guys using light machine guns, just get the shield walls he re-charges at down quickly as you cant damage him, then concentrate firing on him only and avoid shooting enemy npc's as much as you can as they waste time just roll around away from them, maybe kill a couple if they keep firing at you...good luck

Infectors are surprisingly useful on Dekuso as well. Dot him up while hes visible and he will continue taking damage while porting around, in the meantime keep laying into him with LMG fire.

One thing I found that helps, is if your group knows he can take damage before he starts up his defense system at each interval and on the initial onset. You can unload half a clip each x 4 LMG's into him during each of these phases and take a full quarter or more off his life.

So fire on him once he appears, once he ports to a defensive point (north first, east second), and he'll be dead in four minutes flat.

we had one with an infector, one with BMG, one with Smg, and one Assault rifle. The BMG can take out his shield generators very quickly and if your good enough with it; you can get some good crits on Dekuso. I forget exactly which types of weapons we all used. I know that both the BMG and the Infector were Legendary. Character levels didn't seem to matter much. we had a 340ish, a 250ish and my partner and I were borth 1140-90. Two using Blur, One with OC, and One with Decoy. I must say the decoy didn't help much. Blur was good to use to avoid the brunt of his EM blast.

Yeah that's what my friend and I had were LMG's but his health just wasn't going down fast enough. And top top it off those damn shields are a pain as well. I guess Ill keep trying.

You can crit on Dekuso?

It is possible though. You just really need to focus on hitting him before the shield is up, taking his shields down as fast as possible, and doing as much to ignore the adds.
