One Shot..One Miss whats up with Bolt Action Sniper Rifles

Do you guys actually get your bonus crit multiplyer from the weapon skill? cant find an answer for this, but im only getting the 3.7% stated on my weapon, and the +4.0% from the weapon skill (level16 bolt action) doesnt seem to get added.

I think you are misunderstanding those numbers, and highly overestimating that bonus from your weapon skill.

First of all, you don't have a 3.7% crit on your weapon. That number doesn't make any sense. The crit value on your weapon will read something like x2.5. That's normal damage x 2.5 when you hit a critical location. So a 800 damage shot becomes 2000 damage when you score a crit. If you want to write this as a percentage, it would be 250%.

Now with that said, those bonuses you get from weapon skills are extremely tiny. If you do actually have a +4.0% bonus to crit damage, then that's being added to the previous amount I just talked about. That would give you a 254% damage on a critical hit. Or in weapon terms, it's giving you a x2.54 multiplayer instead of x2.5.

So an 800 point shot is now doing 2032 damage on a crit!

I would guess that you ARE getting your 4% bonus, it's just so small you are only seeing a couple additional points on your damage numbers because it's so small.
