i feel so hurt im a teenager i have patience i guess i was brought up by an experienced gamer aka my dad, so i have learned to be used to waiting because ive played lots of games from before i was born

Really?

First we're going to blame arguably one of the better FPS game series ever (Halo) which has the primary merit of being a co-op pve campaign or small scale pvp...on the xbox only mind you and COD4 (MW?) one of the better of the COD games (and harder) See>Plays more like WaW than anything.

AS THE FAILING OF THIS ENTIRE GENERATION?

Ah yes. When we went to EU WoW from the US version (EU launched later and we wanted to play in our own timezone), we had a headstart in term of knowledge. Even with that, I barely made to like... lv25 in the first 24 hours (finished barrens maybe). And then my guildies told me to f*** off and sleep a bit. (Now WoW must accelerate leveling to let ppl catch up with their end-game buddies...)

Aside from this, making everything 'easy', 'accessible', 'rewarding' is a global trend not just in the mmo scene but everywhere. Most ppl just want to get everything, in an instant.
And even those older games/versions are easy, simple and user friendly compared to a game in the 90's.

(With technology getting better and better and softwares hold their users hand, there is no need to know much about... anything. Who remembers now how to modify a command.com or what was the IRQ of a SB16? Or who tried to 'fast forward' a C16 casette with a pen? Yes, minutes wasted to get to the game and start loading... Now no one needs to know more than hitting a button and play. But this post is getting off track badly... sorry for that.)

I'm just glad that I'm not only one not able to connect. Server wide issues on patch day 3 weeks into the game, that's normal. If I can't play Defiance, I'll go scratch my gaming itch with a little Injustice GAU which I just picked up.
