Another patch? A little downtime? I just say, "Meh. I guess it's a sign I should take a little break from the game. Besides, I haven't seen many glitches (and the ones I have seen have been minor), so I guess it means their patches have worked. If they have a few things they need to fix so I can have a better gaming experience, I can deal with that." Then I let it go and move on.

However, you should keep in mind that no matter what anyone says, the main goal in the entertainment industry (or any industry for that matter) is to make money. They will do whatever is required to do that. If they make a good enough product, people will pay for the next game. I think Trion rises above that attitude. They try to have a good relationship with their customers and keep them genuinely happy. That means they actually listen to feedback, but they're probably more likely to listen to it when it's phrased in a constructive way, instead of like a child throwing a tantrum. The game is rated "Mature." If you are mature enough to handle to the content of the game, you should be able to make mature posts on the forums.

Thank you! It's like the Twilight Zone with Trion Zombies running rampant on these forums. I smell paid staff... that has a duty to pose as players and cover for Trion. I would like to think that some of these fanbois are not this much of ball huggers.

Yes because every company hires people to pimp their good word on forums. You must be new the world of MMO's based on the ignorance of your posts. In the early days of WoW the servers were down for hours and hour during peak times. Blizzard has far more resources than Trion does or ever will and they couldn't get it up and running. Their game was "broken" on so many levels, yet they still remain the 800lb Gorilla in the room for MMO's. Sit back, let people do their job, fix the problems, and enjoy the game. If you don't want to do that, then stop playing and stop complaining and making unfounded statements (claiming that Trion is paying people to post positive statements).

What's funny is that you can copy and paste all the condemnations/praises from other sites and use them at every online game launch. Welcome to the future. Wait until your XBOX or PS4 has to be online all the time to play if that is the route they are going.

Get off Trion's back. Do you guys honestly think that they're doing these things on purpose? They've been constantly patching and updating to make things run as smoothly and cleanly as possible, yet all you people notice is "OMGZ da surver iz dwn agin i cant play dis game i wunt my muny bak." By all means, sell the game then. I would much rather have a smaller community of people who know what they're talking about, and SUPPORT Trion, than a larger community of people who do nothing but gripe about the game.

They're patching this game for our benefit. They're updating their patch FOR OUR BENEFIT. They're trying hard, and if you ask me they're working things out at a pretty damn good pace. You people have to realize this is an MMO- Not Call of Duty. Mistakes happen, and they're working them out. We're lucky they're even doing this, because I sure as hell wouldn't want to fix something for a community that does nothing but criticize the countless hours I've put in working FOR THEM.

So Trion, I'd like to say thank you. Thank you for bringing us a great game, and working hard to make sure it's in tip-top shape.

And for those of you who have the mind to realize that Trion IS working hard: Thank you as well. Thank you for being a part of The Defiant Few.

I agree with you, games are very hard to make and defiance has been in development for 5 years which means they have worked very hard to create a game that looks like it has tones of potential! Just watched defiance and I was blown away, looks like we are going to have a ride. Hope this keep up! Well done to Syfy and Trion

it's refreshing to see someone understand just how lucky we are so far. I don't remember a single game/mmo that patched so many times in the first two weeks on top of giving us a decent client patch.
