Infectors.... what's the BIG DEAL? I don't see it

They were barely useful before patch. Short testing before the new issues brought servers down indicates they're useless from now on. Going to be hard to level up these to level 10 now in order to accomplish a certain pursuit.

the canker was usefull in pvp, now you have to be within shotgun range making kiting very very hard.

Ya, congratulations you got to play with Infectors when they were barely viable in PvE. Since people were complaining about them being OP in PvP, they are most likely, as Draugluin stated, useless now since Trion nerfed them...

I never really saw them as a problem in PvP - hell they were one of the many ways you could detect cloak. To me the problem is the almost mandatory homing feature they have; have you seen the physics on those things? They shoot everywhere but straight, they make a parabola in mid-freakin-air.
