Funcom was synonymous with launch failure and launch issues but Trion has now accomplished the impossible by having a worse launch than Funcom ever did. Sad for Trion but funcom people are probably cheering "Yayyyy we are no longer at the bottom after so many years being synonymous with horrid launch quality products"

You cant even slightly be serious. This game didnt launch even close to as bad as Funcom's legendary ones. Anarchy Online launched so badly thousands of people were trapped in in a small area with each other and unable to play. Conan's launch was nearly as bad. This game launched fully playable with a few buggy bits. Not even slightly comparable. TSW did have a relatively smooth launch by Funcom standards, but this one still ran better out of the gate. (Unless you were on X-Box, but Funcom never did a release on that platform)

This game doesnt have "years" to develope. I would buy what your selling if maybe this was the 1st of its kind, but it isnt. They didnt check and see what works and what doesnt, they presented a game, that desperately needed patching.

Oh my bad, I forgot games only last for 6 months after launch to get out all dlc possible before the next in the series is released. I should have known this from MW. My mistake. And since it isn't the first in the genre, there should be enough evidence to suggest that 2 weeks after launch is likely not the time to freak out about an MMO being a failure due to lack of content. Tho I get a kick out of the claim they didn't test the game before launch. Trion isn't Gearbox, and Defiance isn't Aliens Colonial: Marines. Save the "you didn't test the game" chat for their forums. Games with little reason to keep people playing dont last 6 months though, doesnt matter when the next launch is.

This thread and all threads like it are proof that a.d.h.d. Is spreading like an apocalyptic zombie virus all thanks to technologically created instant gratification. "Games been out 2 weeks, why don't I have 10 dlc's? Why isn't this fixed in 5 seconds? Why isn't the sequel out yet? Why aren't ark falls happening in real life? Oh god servers went down gimme a refund!" Seriously, all rage flamers, CALM DOWN. Rome wasn't built in a day, and hundreds of years later, MMO's aren't either. We get it, you get bored easy,you're the one who watches tv while at a sports game and is downloading videos and tweeting about your Facebook post that flaunted your new Pinterest collage and suddenly a bug lands in front of you so you talk about how great Play-Doh is. Guess what, MMO's aren't for you then, sucks but it's true. These game types take years to make and years to perfect after launch. And constantly crying about everything like a child because you forgot to take your Ritalin only drives people nuts and it does nothing for the community. So go ahead sell your game, go pick up a copy of (insert random 3-4 hour long game like Modern Flamewar here), and feed your goldfish attention span. You won't be missed, but hey we're happy that you're happy, for the next 5 seconds at least. Best of luck to ya

Have you seen the quality of topics on the forum today? I apologize, I was simply making an off hand remark, but lets be honest, it's not to far off...
