You don't like whats being said, therefore it stops existing. Interesting how the same logic applies to both things. Then again, apparently the guy instantly calling fanboy on anyone who disagrees with his opinion (and yours) apparently adds much more to these forums. Wonder if that could possibly be simply because he also shares your opinion. I suppose outright whining rather than actually bothering to suggest how they could improve things, since after all you're clearly an expert on developing successful games, ensures a bright potential future for the game.

Have to admit the way your mind works, and its inability to acknowledge reality, is very entertaining.

I quoted warkaiser because he's completely unable to formed a reasoned discussion. I've agreed with everything you said and it was me that created this stupid thread.

So are you doing it wrong, or am i? I work 5 days out of the week. But i still play 3-4 hours a day, more or less depending on exhaustion. Ill do a main mission, do 2-3 side missions that pop up after that. But in the time of me doing those side missions, ive done 2-3 arkfalls, helped a handful of other players out on some quests just because i was in the area. Not to mention Emergencies and the races, hotshot, ect.. in the area. If i didnt play any pvp in between all that, im about to now that ive done some quests. And i cant just play 1 match, i must level up my ego atleast once with pvp. Thats the rule. After all that im going to run around and check all the vendors before i log off. Maybe buy a few tier boxes and hope for something nice. If i got lucky and got something nice, i might even play longer. Who knows. But by then i normally need to be getting to bed.

If you played the game like that, No...you didnt beat the game in 10 hours.

You beat the main missions that are currently released. Nothing else.

    Edit;

Im also not trying to say that the way i play is the "right" way. Im just sorta entertaining the idea that there might be a few ways to play games. Im sorry to say, but you cheated yourself out of some good times by rushing the game. And if you feel like you didnt cheat yourself, than thats because "dont nobody wanna blame themselves" or you just dont like the game. Either way, i think its about time to either move on, or well. Maybe theres only one thing to do

Great job picking a single post of mine and quoting it completely out of context (do you work in the media?). I have a character where I've done most of the pursuits, did as many side missions as I could before I wanted to shoot myself and have gold on every challenge there is. I created the second character purely to see how low EGO you could be to kill Nim and did it without using any perks either.

You are not doing it wrong. The game is great if you are a casual gamer 8/10 imo as far as that goes. The main issue as I see it is that for the more hardcore of us it really falls flat.

    Speaking for myself of course.

Maybe it's a reading comprehension issue or something. Where exactly did I defend the game itself? I was simply pointing out the stupidity of claiming that because you don't like doing certain things in a game that you do not consider them to be content.

Do you like fish? I don't. I think they're stupid and boring. Does that mean they are no longer "content" on Earth? I also dislike dog feces. Does that mean my dogs didn't leave any in my back yard?

Incase you still dont get it. Your personal opinions & preferences dont determine what something is or wether or not it exists. Thats where my WoW example came in. Feel free to insert any game ever made in place of WoW. Im sure there is someone somewhere who doesnt enjoy the things there are to do in the game. Does that make them stop existing?

Me saying you is a flaw in my speech and writing I always say you for some odd reason. I don't mean you per say I mean a person. I will edit that.

So you didnt clarify on the post i quoted. Oh wait, you wanted me to look thru the 37 pages first to make sure right? Yeah, cause thats what you'd do, right?

It sounds like you have clearly played everything this game has to offer, and continue to get your content thru the debating the actual game in the forums. We should all be so lucky. It takes a real fan to do that.

Just want to be clear with my statements too and add this. Content is content. It is what makes up the game. Regardless of what form it takes, even if the entire game consisted of simply leveling up skills and mindlessly shooting stuff. That would still be content.

There are different forms of content though. Saying the game simply has no content is just foolish. Now if you're talking specific types of content such as story driven content, pvp content, etc then that's a different matter.

The game does have plenty of content, however I will agree that (for now at least) it is somewhat lacking in story driven content. That seems to be one of the biggest gripes. People go through the existing story fairly quickly, then resort to claiming the game has no content. Really what they mean / should be saying is "I want story driven content and the game doesnt have enough of it". Semantics and all that, I know, but it doesn't really change my point.

You (not you personally, just people in general) may want story driven content. Perhaps you feel the game is lacking in that department. Maybe that is the only type of content you care about. However that doesn't mean other forms of content do not exist which other people do enjoy.

For those who do want more story driven content, all I can really say is be patient. We all knew it wasnt going to be in the game from the very start. It is being released over different stages as the game & show progress. They (Trion) have already pretty clearly expressed that the episodic content which is coming out alongside the show will be relatively small. Just a few things to do here and there each update. Over time it will add up to a decent amount. The majority of actual story driven content though (as well as any new areas & features) will be in the form of DLC packs instead, which are larger updates than what we will receive from episodic updates.
