very few shows live up to that standard and well done, can't wait for next episode, if they keep this up, Defiance will be up there with Star Wars and Star Trek. Glad to see something worth watching

And what i read on these very forums from producers is that they don't even know if there will be second season since all depends upon the ratings. I watched the first episode. It was a great watch! Was really surprised. I will be watching for sure, and as someone posted before, I was happy he lost his script to the alien after he won the fight. Felt a little vindecated for losing out on the 90k script.
Probably not as expensive as Terra Nova.
