why patch the game to make is LESS fun? (keys, guns)

You can redo the main missions, which give keycodes, wont be as fast...but you can still get them.

I have played some good some bad, spent 4 years on Ultima Online, even run a shard for a time and coded some quests, not that you care of course, but i know how MMORPG's work better than most, just gamers these days expect everything given to them with little to no effort, and they always say well i dont want to spent 10 hours grinding, which begs the question why buy an MMORPG then 0.o, if people don't like the game take it back, trade it, just quit *****ing about every single ****ing thing just because it doesn't cater to your play style, it isnt about you or me its about everyone having a level playing field.

1) Ultima Online was awful.
2) This isn't an MMORPG. It's an MMOTPS.
3) We aren't talking about grinding for an epic piece of loot that is massively better than what you have. We are talking about grinding for gear that is a)not guaranteed to be anything good and b) is, at best, only going to be marginally better than what you already have.
4) These forums exist for people to talk about this game, both negative and positive. Get over yourself.

I am seriously starting to think that not 1 single rift dev was involved with defiance. they must have hired a bunch of shooter game devs and console game devs and they did/ are doing all the work while the rift devs are rolling their eyes at the mess

I really don't mind putting in some work (grinding) to get gear in games, I do not like grinding for a lottery ticket for a chance to get a piece of gear I want, everything in this game loot related is a lottery ticket except the few crappy weapons the faction vendors sell.

I didn't even know they gave keys... is that why sometimes I was getting keys randomly? Because I ran over some poor hellbug or raider that was on my way and got full credit for the event? lol!
