Lots they could do but they won't. Just feels like they want us to pay good money for a lockbox with a 1% of an orange.

Or run into the enemy to help them win quickly? You can do that all evening and get three keys (I think it was three) every 5-10 minutes without any effort.

I'm not advocating doing this, obviously, but this is precisely what will happen if you limit the ways to get keys or if you need a large amount of lockboxes to have a realistic chance to get the items you want.
Or I dunno...maybe rush in there and die over and over to make you lose faster for more keys? If you're afk you can be reported and banned. If you go 0 and 25 then, "I guess I'm just not very good at PvP...tee hee"

If they reduce the amount of key codes or ways you can get them, then make the lock boxes have better rare rates. Or something like, if you are going to take keycodes out of random events have then give you a random loot after the event or more money. If you take the value away from something without anything in return then what you are left with is a worthless product no one will enjoy.
You bring up a good point. As long as it is still only minor. I think what most people grasp is this games reward curve is a huge one. I thought the rate we got keys was a bit quick myself though I compared them to other MMO "raid" currency.

I hear you, the only thing I imagin spending real life currency on would be inventory slots.

If you like this game, you should be happy they're trying to get people to pay for stuff with real money.
More money for Trion = more content in-game.

I don't think the connection between their earnings and the amount of content they will produce is proportionate. It has a chance to help in this regard but imo only small part of this added cash will go into improving their work on this game.

How? If you don't mind me asking. 20 minutes for 24 (24x2?) keys sound rather quick post-patch. Heck, that would be pretty quick even pre-patch.

I don't buy that. You do not get 48 keys in twenty minutes. If you somehow looted enough items to get the resources (an average of 100 items if you got an equal amount of white, green and blue items, which you won't, so we are looking at probably 150 items), it would take quite a bit of time to salvage the items and buy keys. It takes five or six clicks to salvage one item.

go in a coop mission with an ar mow down everyone with overcharge pick up everything salvage it 250 bits for white 500 for green 750 for light blue go to a supplie machine buy all the items 500 scrip is easy to make salvage all those greens remember every 2 green is 1 key
use all those bits to buy keys use keys to buy lock boxes if you dont get anything good sell them for scrip youll get most your scrip back get something good use it, rinse and repeat

IIRC, PvP only gives you 1 key, and Shadow War gives you 2.
