What would you say to someone considering buying this game.

Ive held off thusfar because im on a very limited budget atm having been made redundant a couple of months back. I have masses of spare time and am literally bored out of my brain. Played wow on and off since that was released but really just looking for something new to occupy some of the day.

    Few questions.

    1. How does this game handle on PC. Ive got quite a good rig and can run most single player games on ultra (skyrim, ME3, AC3 etc) will I manage well?

    2. Monthly fees? cant see any mention of them but ive learned in the past that doesn't always mean there isn't any.

    3. Replay value? Does the game have enough content to hold me or will I be bored a week from now?

    4. Game play issues? are the servers steady/reliable?

Cant really think of any other questions just yet but anything you feel is relevant id like to know. Loved the pilot for the show so I know the story behind the game is a fit for me. What say you all?

It runs fine on the PC if you have a decent rig.

No monthly fee just buy the game and play

Replay value is low to be honest. You will get a decent single player story that will provide some challenge.
You also will have many side missions and challenges to complete.

Servers are decent on the PC version, XBOX has had some issues but with the most recent patch they claim to have addressed most of these issues.

Overall if you want a basic idea of the game. Take BORDERLANDS and turn it into an MMO. When you look at it that way you notice it literally is BORDERLANDS Online.

I find the game to be very fun. It will run fine on most any pc, it's certainly not a graphics hog. In fact most pc users complain that the game doesn't give you enough tools to crank the graphics up to look better. The toggles they give you are very minimal, nothing close to graphics settings for an average pc game (my experience is from BF3 and COD where you can tweak alot). They don't bother me, but it is clear the game was made for consoles and ported to pc. There is no subscription fee. Many people have finished the story and are whining about it being short but they haven't done all the side missions. There is a TON of stuff to do and several DLCs coming. I think people with a background in RPG games are unhappy with the game more than others. Everyone wants the game to be like every other game they have already played. I come from the FPS world and really enjoy the game!

I picked it up on greenman gaming for 33.60$ (41.99$ then 20% off) and honestly I like the game a lot. I really think the TV show is incredible and I feel that will keep me engaged in the game. Overall pretty good purchase for the money and I am not disappointed.

Don't buy it until they fix the chat system.. (although I guess it helps to get beta testing money from players before the game is complete....)

The game is FUN but not worth the $$$ at the moment due to all the bugs. But most games have bugs on release. Wait a few months until the game is fixed and on special

Loving the game and the show. Servers can be a little quirky at times, but definitely worth it!

Before I would implore people to check this game out. Now, I'm a little forced to say buy it now, it's fun, as long as you aren't too concerned with playing it for too long or the inter-connectivity between the game and the show. If you're really interested in the latter, wait to see how it plays out over the next few weeks. So far, you won't be missing anything.
