Don't feel bad guy, they nerfed the sawed off as well, I mean the gun that fires once then takes like 5 seconds to reload. Now unless you hit the shot just right you are doing fractions of damage on common mobs... Giving them ample time to take you down.

Such a shame because the sawed off was a one trick pony in PVE, now it's pretty much worthless, yet people are still one shotting in PVP with it.... lol

Because the sawed off isn't nerfed. For no apparent reason it still has the same damage values.

really, I was using sawed off earlier, rolled up on two enemies, they were clipping inside each other, blasted them and they both only lost about 25% hp. This happened a few times, until my aimer was right up in the middle of their chest it was having issues killing mobs it would kill before.

It could just be my imagination, who knows.

Random possibility: might it have stopped critting so frequently? I recall my courier critted a lot.

They may of nerfed it and not adjusted the stats on the item description by mistake.
