Greens out of Tier 4 Boxes?

I have used my keycodes on all the lockboxes and have only ever gotten green and white weapons 1 or 2 blue and purple and zero legendary. I think if they are going to make keycodes more time consuming or difficult to obtain then they should at least make it easier to obtain the legendarys with at least the tier 4 boxes.

Having said that from what I understand the legendarys are not that much better than the blues and purples anyways so it really shouldn't matter if people get "the best gun" sooner or not. Besides unless they take the level caps off the guns as soon as you level it up completely it becomes obsolete. Therefore you will have to go find another one. I think they should take the caps off the guns. I have had so many good smgs that I have had to put out to pasture because they level up too quickly. The least they could do is slow it down some and prolong it.

I seem to have better odds at getting Rares and Epics drop from Mini Bosses than I ever have from Tier 4 Lock Boxes. As such, I only purchase a lock box when my Keycodes are maxed out.

My suggestion to others is just do it this way. The lockboxes feel like a scam if brought by using Bits. Just grind the keycodes and get them.

Which brings up another question...does the EGO number associated with a weapon matter for anything?

So far at 1300 ego I found higher ego has resulted in more mod slots on weapons from lock boxes. I'm getting all 4 mod slots on weapons now that I'm noticing. I haven't seen any increase in weapon stats/damage or synergy yet, but I've read there is one at 1600+ ego.

Is this a bug, intended change, or was I hallucinating before today, lol? I would have swore that before today, I always either got blues, purples, or Legenderies.

Agreed. If everyone was running around with gold guns there would be threads complaining about that. So. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Ego ~1300 and no oranges, about 10-15 tier 4 and at least 30+ tier 3. Out of all of those boxes I'd say I've had about 5-10 purples, the rest blue and green.
