True, always a possibility. The way I thought I heard on some of their posts from others that it was by default to be turned off. I'd rather have it turned on by default so people know to use it. They then can determine whether they would like to mute the option or simply leave it on.

Okay so go do an arkfall or go do something random find a random guy while your fighting enemies and stop to proceed to add him as a friend to invite him to a party.

Let me know why that is better.

been playing this game ALONE since day 1, the other human players are useless as the bots in co-op matches. server drops when i do find a guy that was as far in the campaign as i was, half the people don't know how to do an ark fall. only ark falls are mmo related

I'm not trying to sound mean but do you not realize what voice chat opens up? You state, "Half the people don't know whats going on or how to do arkfalls!" This can solve that simple answer by saying it out. Most people in their mind won't take the type to open the text box if they don't have a USB keyboard or chat pad hooked up to even bother assisting people to try to get them to listen.

You playing solo will now basically disappear as you will hear people talking and asking for help, consistently.

i usually hit the enter on the xbox chat pad type stop killing the baby hell bugs or focus on the monarch and hit enter agian

the only useful person i found on these forums was dark fallen and now he mad at the game cause the update, everyone else cried way to much, or there friends were idiots

I thought a even quicker way is to push D-pad down and on the bottom right hand of your screen is the chat channels you can cycle?

That is indeed quicker; however, it will not turn on your chat as your chat is currently disabled within the game.
