Trion dropping PS3 support already? Wheres my patch?

Ok, to be clear, they did not remove the entire approval process. It used to be two stages with feedback. Its now a single stage with optional feedback. Patch fee's are a lil different, it can cost 40k or beyond to get a patch out on ps3, they'v begun to waive those fee's for independant developers. So their is still an approval process, its just hopefully a lot faster, as for patching fee's one would hope trion would qualify for a waiver. And again to be clear, this was in reference to the ps4 and vita.

"From what I heard, Sony is trying to be more developer friendly, and is going to test it on the PS3 until the Playstation 4 comes out, but with Sony's reputation, I doubt all is true, and they will again miss the target and go back to what's comfortable. I Hope they don't, I hope they've learned, but I hope I'm wrong and they stick to their word this time, but Sony's track record is hard to over look"...

That depends entirely on what games you want to play. Personally I've tried PC gaming several times during my gaming career, which goes back to a console before the Atari 2600 though it's name escapes me, but I always come back to console gaming. Every platform has it's good games but which one is "best" is subjective. PS4 will be a day one buy for me if possible.

Won't find another final fantasy 7 or 10 but man does sony have some incredible rpg titles which never see the light of day on xbox or pc or if they do get on pc the controls just aren't the same. It's just silly to choose one over the other. I have a high end pc an xbox and a ps3 and I love them all. A true gamer gets them all eventually but pc usually wins but with the price of having to build your own rig and update it where it seems the last console has lasted twice the age of a good pc.

I do agree that each platform has it's positives and ideally it's best to have them all, but not all "true" gamers can afford the time and money to spend on playing every platform. It's possible to be a true gamer on one platform, just not the most well rounded.

word of mouth can be a very powerful thing. ive personally talked at least 18 people out of buying the game (through internet,PSN, and in game stores) simply by UNDERSTATING the horrific experiences ive had with customer service and the game and they usually believe me (the few that dont have played Rift and insist the game cant be as bad as i say - a couple have admitted i was right after playing tho). i intend to continue speaking up anytime i see someone about to waste $60+ on this game and i imagine im not the only one doing so either. i didnt even know about the patch f*ckin up the PC/Xbox version until today but it sure wont help Trion any

While im enjoying the game, alot of my friends are dropping like flies on it. Even my UK friends are disappointed that we cant get together with us from NA region. Im hoping that the delay is for the better and not the aftermath that the pc/360 community has on hand.

I had people remove me cause i got them to buy this lemon juicer. I have 0 out of 15+ people playing now and i stopped days ago. They stiffed me off on ce content and bits i bought and cs blows me off. This game took #1 spot of worst ce buy even over aliens ce...

which is why unless you KNOW the games going to be good you shouldn't buy preorder CE games totalbiscuit makes a brilliant arguement on this on youtube if game makers have to put in time making bonuses or something that really should of been in the game anyway to entice you to buy it early it's just wrong it should be in the game anyway.
