    Why nerf infectors?

Honestly I know a lot of people cry about them in pvp, but honestly when I pvp I die to shotguns only. What I would like to say is I feel like the infector is one of the coolest and most fun guns to use in the game. It's super unique and belongs to this series only. Why nerf such a fun pve tool? I guess it's back to assault rifles for me.

They take no skill at all to use, though I could see how nerfing dmg was pretty unnecessary.

All they needed to do was reduce the homing radius, so that you have to be more on target.

I feel they did go a tad overboard.

yea i think infectors are fine i think they should have made the guided rocket launchers mags more then 2 like at least 4 so you don't have to reload so much in the original weapon guide on the defiance site the thing that made guided rocket launchers seem cool was, that they said that it was good for rapid deployment of rockets on a single target from behind cover.

so most have 1 in mag wow thats rapid... even ones with 2 wow i can rapidly deploy 2 rockets that do hardly any damage to a hard enemy that makes since. if they at least gave it like a 4 rocket capacity increased fire rate you could really have fun. yes you would have to get ammo more but gun would make more since since the website made it out to be like that.

Honestly, if the homing was the problem, WHY THE HELL WASN'T IT JUST REMOVED?! I liked my infector, but apparently even if you line the shot up right, it won't "hit" outside it's homing range.... Can I please just use it as a gun? :P

There is no "overkill". There is only "open fire" and "I need to reload."

For me the problem isn't the infector itself. The problem is when my enemy just finished off 2 newbs, I take one shot at him and suddenly die to headcrabs without him ever having even SEEN me... that's a serious WTF moment. If the headcrabs ONLY targeted enemies you're actively firing at then I'd be fine with it.

Just played PVP for a few hours and now almost everyone using a SG. The infector at least gave a little variety.
