Until they properly resolve the issue of weapons perma-disappearing out of your inventory (lost 4 oranges that way), I wouldn't be too panicked about trying to grind keycodes and I sure as hell wouldn't recommend buying lockboxes with bits.

Is there a way of telling what items have disappeared? I've lost some but UK not sure which.![]()

not that I know of -- screenshots would be about the only way. I probably lost other stuff from my inventory but only knew about the oranges for the obvious reasons.
edit: The trouble is - if you have a store that sells lockboxes with loot for real life money and then proceed to evaporate your purchases with no effective way to replace/fix (referencing threads in bugs forum), then you have an issue. It is enough of an issue that they should have disabled purchases of lockboxes using bits until it is resolved...but that will never happen.
Not everyone who buys the cosmetic items is gullible or a "kid with their parent's credit card". Some of us buy them because we want to have them and are perfectly happy with spending a small amount of money on it. I bought one of the outfits because I really liked it. With a F2P and cash shop model it is these transactions that will support the future development of the game. I don't have to pay a sub to play so I'm perfectly happy to support the game by buying items that I like from time to time. It's a trivial cost anyway, you'd spend the same on a movie ticket or a few pints of beer.
How people spend their money is their own business, and assuming that they are being "gullible" by buying these items is rather pretentious.
As for the main subject, personally I think the keycodes were too quick and easy to get previously. There are still perfectly viable avenues to get them, just not quite so fast.
As for the suggestion that buying boosts is in some way necessary to be able to get loot, this simply isn't true.
I'm not sure I understand, I started off the day with like 15 key cards, ended the day with over 50 of them and all I did was drive around doing minis for maybe an hour. Overstating the issue a little bit?
Ended the day? Usually you could get that in 20 mins

it's called balance good sir, do you think it was fair you could get that many ark keys in such a short period of time? I mean you do know that games need balance right. Let me guess you are also the guy who played Borderlands 2 and complained about the Orange weapon drop rate from killing bosses. I mean clearly the rare weapons should drop every time you kill a boss right?
I do agree they need to alter some rewards and taking away mini events during major ark falls in the area was a mistake as well.
This is not a F2P game! This is a B2P game!
We already paid 60 bucks up front for the Box and will be paying for upcoming DLC!
I don't mind some convience and cosmetic sh*t in the Cash Shop! I can live With that.
But hiding practically all decent loot inside Lock boxes and then make the key grind worse and worse With each patch, to the point that they want us practically paying for LOOT as well now!
Absolutely insane! ArenaNet has been doing the B2P model With great success for quite some years now With Guild Wars and now Guild Wars 2!
Maybe TRION should have a good look at how ArenaNet is doing it.
TRION is now a Company that is even worse then Cryptic and other F2P studios! As they are double dipping on both B2P and F2P models!![]()
