i really wish Trion would release a guide book for this game. for example Leveling up, weapons, and how to defeat certain enemies. i am stuck on side mission: eviction notice part 4. I have NO idea how to defeat the boss at the end

I second that idea for a guide book,
the weapons mods can be a little difficult at times you just don't know which one to get next...
And the location areas (Best places) to complete contracts...
I too want a guide badly. There should be back story and art in it too. Hard back limited edition all the way. Contacted Brady and PRIMA, Brady said no and got no reply from PRIMA though they have some video guides on their website so maybe. Actually created an account to post so trion see it is wanted! Please!
A book-form guide for an MMO would be out of date before it even hit shelves.
It's weird that so many of them have them then! The background to the game, maps, perk lists etc never go out of date. It would be an awesome item to go alongside the game.
Dind someone your own age in here and make some friends. It's really the oly way to play this.
I've never seen a physical guide for an MMO. Not to say they don't exist (obviously they do), but compared to static games which have strategy guides all over the place. Then again, the idea of physical strategy guides at all seems to be going with the wind these days.
Background lore, true enough, but things like maps and perk lists absolutely can and will go out of date. The devs have already said the map will be being effected by show/game tie-in events, and of course there will be new areas added with DLC that a guide would be unable to cover. The EGO grid has already been modified from release, and probably will continue to be, and even little changes like something going from 2% to 3% can make enough of a difference to make a guide useless. If there's misinformation in there, why bother reading it at all? That's why, for a game like this, a digital guide makes more sense. The publishers can continuously update them (though, to be fair, they usually just don't).
I actually collect guides so not that bothered with it being super up to date. But anyway, guild wars 2 and Diablo 3 have both had paper guides on launch and limited ed guides still sell out regularly so the market is till there. But OT, Trion, we are waiting!
