Yes, clearly they are forcing you to buy boxes with real money... I mean it's not like you can earn the boxes by playing the game or anything. No clearly a company trying to make additional revenue to keep the game running is the devil.

lol do people even realize how whiny they sounds. I mean seriously, do you think the developers get paid with well wishes? Do you think with your 60 dollar purchase the game can last you a lifetime? The game obviously needs revenue to keep going. I'd rather have people with money purchase these things to keep the game free and online. Do you think the Servers run for free. Do you think the electric bill, water bill etc etc etc all pay themselves over at trion?

No, you mean the defiance store which sells a bunch of optional stuff is helping to keep the game free for us all... get out of town.

I don't have a problem with them trying to make extra money, but I do have a problem with the prices they ask. The single outfit for 880 Bits.... that $11 for one outfit, for $1 more I can get full DLC on another game.
They even probably kept a bank out of the game so the could get people into buying more inventory slots. Sorry man but that's just shaddy business practices right there, or at least how I take it. Honestly I wouldn't be as bothered by it and actually purchase stuff if it didn't cost so much.

Take for example the XBL Avatar shop. When it first arrived everyone thought it was ******ed and a waste of time. Once everyone seen that a lot of the items were no more than $1 they were more comfortable with "Digital meaningless gear" and throwing away a couple $ to trick out thier avatars a lil bit. That's why I say lower the price of your stuff TRION and you mnight be able to actually sell it.
