Got a friend in game playing, I just keep timing out.
Same problem for me, but now I'm getting a Choose Server screen after the previously mentioned errors. There are not servers to choose in the box.
Are those timing out using steam version.... because I'm wondering if it could be steam related the issue. Because I did the integrity check, then ran the game directly fromt he steam launcher and it's installing patch 1.011 atm.

Same here, my main in Marin keeps 'timing out' when I try to log in. Can log or create other toons for the tutorial.
This is is exactly what happened on release day, perhaps you guys can do the same thing as you did then to fix it.

Well all I know is it's running the latest patch atm, so won't know if it was a patcher issue or not for another 30 minues... >.>
Steam version or not shouldn't matter, because the game runs its own patcher separately from steam. The game connects directly to trion servers rather than through valve a la dota 2 or tf2. All steam does is run an overlay that gives you access to the shift+tab stuff. If you ran the patcher directly from the files you downloaded, rather than through the steamid:// link it would still run fine.
In any case, none of the fixes in this thread worked, and I've seen other people having problems with other platforms too. It seems like these problems are either the servers going down or Trion losing internet connection.
