Are all Side Missions Gone?

I restarted the Main Mission today, then I find out all my undone side missions are no longer on the map. Did they remove all the side missions after the Patch? How can I get them back or never?

when you restart your main mission you have to unlock your side missions again, but only the side missions you had not completed before restarting your main mission.

Wait, so side missions actually do come back in at all? THAT'S AWESOME! When I read that missions would be replayable, I was ecstatic, but slightly disappointed because I thought that it didn't include the side missions. (The patch notes did say "main" missions)

the side mission icons on the map always go away while you are on a main mission. If you complete your current main mission or abandon it, they will all come back.

So if I finished every side mission and restart my main missions, will the only available missions be Main missions or will all the side missions I already completed be back and able to be completed again. Once I unlock them by doing the main missions?

If you complete them, then nope, the side missions will not show up again. Since you already got all the pursuits from them, personally I don't see a point to redo them over and over again .

I think, as what Skeptic was saying, is that only "finished" side missions will reappear after restarting. Only ones you have not finished at least once before need to be unlocked again. If this is true, it might be because (not stating this is true, it's a guess) finishing a side mission again will give you somewhat diminished rewards, because you've done it already. Like I said, only a guess.

The side missions reward a mod cache...I can defiantly see a point. They also provide a small scripted event unique to the mission itself, so I can see the want to redo them, as quickly as they are done.

From my experiences, all the rampaging, or hotshot missions gives way better mods, xp, and scrips if you can get to the gold reward, same goes with the Main Missions. Also, you can get to play the similar event by being in the same quest area, it will have the same objectives, you just dont get item rewards after the missions is done, it still rewards you with scrips.
