I fully expect to see spoilers for everything when I go on FB (which is a part of the reason why I rarely use it), but in a game as bugged as this one is at the moment, you can't avoid coming to the forums to either report a bug or see if there is a fix for it yet. Well, I suppose I could if I wanted to stop playing the game...
As I said though, I don't expect people not to discuss the series - in fact,I actually want them to! All that I am asking is that people keep these discussions where they belong and out of the bug reports. If people read threads that clearly reference the series, then I agree that they deserve what they get. I just don't see why I should have to risk finding out what happens in the next episode while I'm reading about whether or not they have fixed the problem with the vehicle skills...
Once the show airs, you need to understand fully that people will do what they do. If it airs in America first, the Americans will talk about what happened often times without posting spoilers in the topic title. The best way to avoid this is staying off any defiance message boards until the show airs and you get to watch it.
This is a common thing that happens on any board. Wait for a new game to come out, go to that message board any time during the first 10 days and you are very likely to have the ending or at least major portions of the storyline spoiled by people in the topic titles. It happens, only way to avoid it is not coming into the message boards until you watch the content.
I'm with you, TC--spoilers should at LEAST be marked for courtesy's sake. I'm leaning towards reporting blabber-mouths who just throw them around willy-nilly.
Do the forums have rules about posting spoilers? I know some of them do, I can't recall if this board has those same rules or not.
What! The kid dies in the Tarbathua movie?? Where the jekk were the spoiler tags there?? Now when I accidentally have a kid and am forced to watch that movie I'm going to be slightly miffed the entire time.
The internet is full of selfish jerks. Nothing will ever change that.
