What he's referring to is when two people engage in a fight, they usually start jumping like mad.

Its really annoying, and it forced me to just stick with explosion damage. If I can't kill you with my sawed off shotgun grenades, I'm going to use my grenade launcher to finish you off.

I propose either implementing diminishing returns, so that jumping within 5 seconds of another jump will make you jump lower and also slow your character down, fire speed, movement speed, or some kind of discouragement. Alternatively completely remove the option to jump at all from PVP maps. I understand this would be difficult for shadow wars, however perfectly plauseable for PVP maps as they are instanced.

The fact that people are able to jump constantly and spam explosives/incendiaries at the ground and think they are clever just annoys the hell out of anyone who actually wants to play properly. Those of us with any FPS experience know bunnyhopping is childish and annoying, many FPS have added a system to prevent it, please add one as well. The PVP system is just a joke until this gets sorted out.

Also, please sort out a bug where perks are removed upon entering a PVP match, or other instanced areas. They may just be removed randomly throughout gameplay, however I have noticed it more during PVP/Co-Op.
well i think that having all these explosives is the real joke (too many guns that don't need to be aimed) bunny hopping is present in most shooters or at least smome cheap evade is. Halo is famous for bunny hopping and is one of the most successfull MP games out there. nobody discourages it either. GoW has wall bouncing which is an even dumber thing i'm not gonna get into. and the jump height isn't even high. just move your cursot slightly up lol

So other bad game play makes it ok in this game? Halo a console game at heart and not a mmo dealing with as many people on line. The bunny hopping + latency is more a issue in this game then some small halo match. Talking about jump height... talk about a noobish statement, its not about the height its about the game rendering where a person is vs there ping. High lag with jumping freaks makes hit detection go out the window.

Earlier in shadow wars, I witnessed a fight between one on my team and one on the other. Both instantly began jumping around eachother, looking like two kangaroos in a boxing-ring... Needless to say, I was laughing so hard IRL... I think they jumped around for about 10 sec, untill I decided to put the other guy out of his misery

But damn that was hillarious watching.

Heres a different approach. Jumping will give you even more spread or distort your aim more than it is at the moment. That would probably be the best way to lower bunny jumpers. If you really consider them such a problem. :-)

Personally jumpers in CQC get killed like eveybody else when i have my shotty out. I rarely see people using explosives that close but explosive jumpers dont really make a difference at mid range. Now if you're the type that tries to just sit there and ADS while they go bunny crazy...you deserve to die.

This man is correct. Yes its annoying but that's the nature of the game. It happens in halo, CoD, Battlefield, Gears of war, Lost Planet, world of warcraft, rift (I know y'all remember healers running around spamming healing flood) etc etc. Its a tactic of the game.

Maybe take 10% more damage while airborne?

Are you insane? Battlefield has a stamina bar to prevent bunny hopping, there is no jump in gears of war dur, WoW is a target based game jumping has nothing to do with hitting it has zero effect on if you hit or not, COD has a stamina to limit bunny hopping... most games limit or prevent it.

Despite stamina bar your aim also get distorted while you are jumping and your spread gets increased <--------- would be a useful thing to have in defiance as well
