Makes no sense... Not all people who are mmo players play on the pc... I've played many mmos on the pc and also played phantasy star universe, which was an mmo on the xbox 360 & pc... alot of people who played psu actually came over to defiance aswell. And everyone knows a true mmo player farms the **** out of whatever game they are playing to get what they want. I'm sure more than just a few ruined it for you. It's not really a big deal though. I think it will improve the mmo aspect of the game by forcing players into working along side eachother in co-ops, arkfalls, & such.

Now that the patch has came out and many things were corrected, I pondered on trading the game in. That is until I talked to a few friends that are die-hard fans of Defiance.

I was confronted with another issue that plagued me after the patch. I found my joy in farming hellbug nest for 4 key codes per a dynamic event. Now it offers none for the completion of the event; which disappoints me. To the point of wanting to trade it in.

On top of this, the amount of key codes were reduced in Arkfalls. 3 key codes per a Major Arkfall. Plus some Arkfalls offered none. It's probably due to it just being buggy.

So it would take me 20 Major Arkfalls to get enough key codes for a tier 4 lockbox. Which is time consuming. Especially when it took me 12 tier 4 lockboxes to get 1 legendary.

I say all that to give some insight on my reasoning for giving up on Defiance. But after talking with some friends, I thought about the good Defiance has. I'm not sure but just maybe, MAYBE the dynamic events are buggy and that's the reasoning for no key codes. I came to this conclusion because it wasn't listed in the patch notes; fingers crossed.

Also, I know many, including myself, were down on Trion over this debacle. But what I love about Trion is they're at least trying, and for that, I not only decided to keep defiance but also bought some bits.

BTW the patch fixed a lot of issues and sure there are still some but awesome job with it Trion. Again I'm sorry for my previous statements/actions.
I still got 5 from a major arkfall and 3 from the minor ones. The side missions still give 2 or 3 key codes and can be farmed easily if you choose. It was a good fix and now the easily completed sidequests give appropriate awards such as scrip, salvage, and experience.

Hmmm, I could almost swear I got 5 keycodes from an arkfall last night, and 4 from another. Perhaps it's the type of arkfall or at what point you join in? I could also be wrong about it as well.

As for me, I don't actively go out to find keycodes or anything. I just drive around engaging in shenanigans and if whatever I'm doing happens to give me a code, great! If not, oh well, I get more eventually. I also have bought some using ark salvage because I have a ton of it that I rarely use (basically to remove high level mods once I max a weapon is it).

keycodes dont seem to be a problem seeing how much useless weapons and such drop just salvage more scrip is almost useless in this game anyway unles you want a new ride.4 white items gives you one keycode through salvage so its not that bad.I just wish they would put an option in to auto salvage them.

I do believe since the patch the arkfalls became buggy. I ould only get 3 from major arkfalls and one time at a minor arkfall I received none while my friend got 1 key code.

I agree completely but my fun was farming them. There is so much to do in Defiance that I just need to explore more.

Could not agree more. I'm not going down the route that so many have taken here with all the crying, whining, and name calling but I have changed my play style to a more classic route. I am no longer worried about lock boxes, I only use guns that I find while looting and any keys I get go straight to the mod case.
