    Are Episode Pursuits Timed?

Just a quick question if anyone knows the answer, are these pursuits timed? And by that I mean are they only open during the week of the episode airing, or will these pursuits still be around in 3 months?.

I am progressing the story as slow as I can, waiting for friends to be online to do it co-op, at least the ones we can. As a result, I have yet to finish Mandera (part 2/5), so I do not have access to San Fran in order to complete these pursuits. I just don't want to be playing the game slowly, and lose out on these pursuits, because they only stay active during the corresponding episodes of the show. I also don't feel like rushing the game, just to get them done or have access to completing them.

    Let me know.

I hope they're open for longer than a week. i couldn't find any pilgrims last night and it wasn't due to the lack of effort. after about an hr or so of driving around whoopin up on random instances i found myself bored of looking for pilgrims and ended up ARK'n most of the night.

Glad that the patch lets you see the name of the area your cursor is higlighting...but TBH the lack of landmark names on the map is utterly frustrating....one of the few complaints that i have about the game...the other being contract areas and how they work and the 3rd...the damn lag/inventory/store lockups

I highly doubt they will take them down when the next episode airs or take them down ever... Probably 50% of the playerbase isn't in San Fran yet. They can't expect us all to rush and get there just for 3-4 pursuits..

Yeah what’s another lifetime? Like mine?
We all die a little sometimes, it’s alright
Did you come to say your goodbyes to this life?
We all hurt a little sometimes, we’re alright
So mothers hold your children don’t you ever let em go

I managed to complete the pilgrim ones, I found you need to go off road, and not on the streets.. In other words as you drive around look at your mini map and take all dirt roads, Everyone of the pilgrims I encountered only spawned on these dirt roads, some of them I just drove back and forth, clearing out the random events that happened and eventually a pilgrim one spawned. The only exception is the Mount Tam one, as it appears next to the road in some cases.

yeah...sadly...i don't know if i'm gonna be motiveted enough to drive all over haha...i'll keep my eyes out in Mt Tamm kinda wanna start there and move east/south.

They'd be kinda nice if you could pick them up as "side missions" and then the map highlights like 5-10 different areas to search. makes sense to me...instead of driving around just looking...if i don't have an "objective" getting sidetracked in this game is gonna happen lol

I would think they would at least be up long enough for us to be able to get the multiplayer one,or just mark the cap and hold part for everyone since it isn't our fault we can't get it yet.
    Happy Hunting!

this is what has bothered me about the "episode missions" they took them down...yeah they gave fair warning but what about the ppl that hear about this game in a month and are sucked into the battle. i mean i have a feeling this game is going to hit as a sleeper title and just pick up in popularity.... i can see if you had created a character day 1 and never touched the episodic missions and you lose them but any new created character should have the opportunity to do so.

i'm not trying to complain just thinking logic for when the new ppl come around

And what about Episode 2 Missions??? I mean its Wednesday ... and I have yet to see them ... so are we only going to have the weekend to finish them up once they hit? Don't know about you all but I have a job, kid and wife so my play time is limited ... hell I might have to get Divorced so I can just keep up.

I have all but the PvP pursuit and the contract for Dy'Dekuso done...

Edit: I feel safer assuming they're timed, look at the two that require a contract for Paradise Valley and Echelon, those are only a weekly contract... so what, is the contract going to just recycle, or get added in with their other weekly? Better to do it now then find out those were temporary contracts.
