    PvP Nerfs and Fix's

    there is alot of problems with defiances pvp


    1. shotguns - these weapons are far to strong in pvp and need a huge nerf,even will all the resis and health perks and a 1800 sheild they can still 1 shot you and because of stealth it makes it even worse.
    2. lag hoppers, as you guesed it because of diffrent regions and people with diffrent internet coonectivity and lag hopping has always been a problem in this type of gameplay.
    3. the exp aquired through pvp needs ot be greatly nerfed - 15k++ exp per 8v8 is way to much
    4. powers and perks should be disabled in pvp, this would remove the balance issue due to powers and perks.
    those are just 4 of the problems in pvp there are many more.


    something will most likely need to be done about pvp to balance it out more as right now its poor at best.

    these exact two issues have been brought up in nearly every.single.thread in this forum. please do not create more, it's completely unnecessary.

    it is also unnecessary to flame me for it as i didnt know there was other posts about this topic,and you said 2 of them have been braught up so the 3rd opinion gives me the right to post a seperate thread anyway.

    oh you mean the "opinion" that was edited in after i replied? :P

    it's possible to get 15k+ xp per match? pretty sure it's more like half that.

    i'm not sure how you didn't know about the other posts...... the thread titles immediately below this were "cloak + shotgun massively imba" and "nerf bunny hopping".

    Here he comes to wreck the dayyyyyy! =D

    Okay first thing is first, nothing needs to be nerfed, things need buffs. This is a shooter you should expect to get and also receive one shot kills. Ttk should be short, this game should act more realistically and less like an rpg. *grabs some popcorn and waits for the hate responses*

    Not to be an *******, but you suck at PvP.

    As in all other PvP modes of any other games - the main priority is to follow the stream, concerning damage-dealing specs/weapons/setups and not least tactics.

    If the meta of the TDM mode is currently Cloak + Shotgun w/ Infector; then you follow the stream and do the same thing - you won't get anywhere with the "If I can't PvP in my own way, your game sucks"-attitude.

    I agree to an extent. I'd like to see more accurate shooting mechanics, but I like the RPG nature of the game. I like the fact that a team with specific roles, absolutely stomps a team of lone wolves; this is awesome and it gives a PvP roleplaying feel, as in you paly a friggen role on your team.

    But shooting mechanics need to be a tad bit tighter. No, I'm not asking for CoD, Halo or pick your shoot mechanics. But MAG can be used a solid exampled of massive, no lag battles with RPG elements, decisive team roles AND tight shooting mechanics. I'm not saying that this game should be made like MAG, but what I am saying is there's room for improvement in the shooting mechanics realm (separate sliders for aim sensitivity for hip-fire and LDS is a big one) while keeping a solid role based combat system.
