    Critical Error

    I am also having an issue with what ever happened early this morning. I was playing fine up until 12a.m. EST on the US Server. This morning I have been getting the critical error. I was able to create a character for the tutorial but as soon as I get to Mount Tam the game crashes and I can not log in anymore. Good luck with the a fix, love the game so far and the show is phenomenal!!

    Ditto, normal character times out on connect, new characters can be made, but time out once you finish the tutorial area (logging back in with that character that just finished the tutorial lets them walk around the end of the tutorial area with no monsters / interactables for a minute before timing out again).

    Can we get a "We see your problem and are working on it" post?

    my room mate and i both have the game. i am having the problems other have listed but i also get the chance to see if her account works. i can log into the game on my pc from her account but mine gets the errors. she cant log into my account from her pc but she can log into hers just fine. from what it looks like its not a patch error but something bugged with certain accounts. i could play just fine all last night on my pc with her account but when i checked back on mine an hour later id still get that same critical message about accounts and installation.

    In the same boat. Worked fine until I logged off at midnight EST. This morning, timing out after trying to log from character selection screen. Created a new toon with the same result as noted above. Tried disabling the firewall. Other online games work fine.

    I'm suffering from the same issue..

    First broken loadouts, missing items and hours worth of rollbacks and now this...

    In all honesty, I know all MMOs have growing pains when they're first released, but at what point am I allowed to feel frustrated without some internet ******* going "LOL CRY MOAR noob"? I mean, I've actually lost money on this game. What gives, Trion?

    Same here. I start the game and it either tells me I can't connect tot the servers before it even gets to character selection or after I select a character it tells me that my connection has timed out. This is my ONLY day off this week to play. I hope they get this fixed soon.

    Well it worked fine yesterday. Is TRION capable of implementing a patch without issues of this scale? What the **** is going on with our accounts?

    Same here, I have put 80$ in on top of the 60 dollar price tag. I can understand being a new game...but this is horrible. I Demand someone from trion or tech support or something at least say something. I allow myself a limited amount of cash per month to spend on myself...i bought this game in good faith and threw what cash i had at you people(trion) Rift made me feel you did good work..and now....Im thinking you just got lucky. The first ticket i put in for a character glitch my response was "were busy relax' so..lets hear it techy support folks..Forum monitors..or someone who gets a paycheck from trion..even if it's a 'were busy relax"

    Same timeout error ( try again ?), never had one before.


    Unless the servers were down.
