The game just launched two weeks ago. Do you know how many issues World of Warcraft had in it's first 2 weeks (or months, or years...)? Not to mention just about every other MMO on the market? Give it some time, and the devs will hash everything out. Trion is really good about prioritizing what needs to be fixed first. It's called triage. Some things that may seem like a big issue to you, are not a big issue to the game stability, community, other other aspects.

Trion will fix things, but in an order that makes sense from the entirety of the game, not just from you're viewpoint. I know it seems like it sucks, but that's how it works.
i wouldnt really care if it was like this is they didnt have a beta because it would have been totally understandable... but seeing as that is not the case i am kinda upset... especially when the beta for defiance was initially supposed to be 2 days and how messed up would the game really would have been if that went through. Also how are you even able to say that Trion is good at prioritizing when nothing has been done yet...

I just restarted the Story to help my friend go through it and it takes away ALL the side missions as well. I want to complete the pursuits but this game just sticks its middle finger up and walks away. No mention it would do that before I did it. Just said that the Storyline would be lost.

The game is still relatively new and i am sure there are alot of things that need to be worked on and they will work on it. Most people expect a fully functional working game right out of the box and i understand that as i do as well but that is not reality. If the game does not entertain you then maybe put it up and wait a couple months till they get a rhythm going. As for the WOW references i was and still am playing WOW and the forums in WOW almost mimic the forums here in complaints and such but thats what the forums are for feedback and information.

I guess its just little things like this that tell me why should i care about this game when the Devs don't care.... which is sad and i really didn't want it to be that way but it is what it is...

Just got kicked from the servers for the second time today. Game is annoying me, doesn't help that I payed £40 on release day and its not £22. Should have waited a few months.

It all depends on what your expectations were coming in to this.

I didn't expect much, just something to waste some time with, and have ended up loving this game. I'm not a big fan of MMOs because I don't like doing the equipment grind where you fight the exact same boss 500 times to try and get some sort of drop from them, or where you have to fight 1000000 little enemies to level up before moving on to the next area so you won't get smashed when you enter. I like how the weapons in this game don't really get more "powerful" because that lets me play with friends who are lower leveled than me without feeling like I am taking away from their experience by one-shotting everything in the vicinity.

I also am not blind to the issues that are here, they just don't bother me all that much, especially since I know the devs are working to fix them.

Unfortunately, I think the time has passed by where games come 100% complete. Due dates are being pushed onto devs from all angles, and with this game I think it was obviously the TV show. One big game that also fell victim to this type of thing was Mass Effect 3. The original ending that shipped with the game was very crappy (not talking about the story of it, just the cutscenes etc). After a while they released a free DLC that put a more in-depth ending in, and it was obvious that was supposed to be the original, but they had to leave it out due to time constraints. With the ability to patch and update the product at any time, companies are forcing these game out faster to get those sales figures. That's not on the devs, that's all on the corporate side I think.

Overall I'm very happy with this game so far. I can understand that some aren't, and can't fault them either because I do see the flaws. But I think that saying the devs don't care or they are lazy is asinine. Now if you want to see a game where the devs really don't care just look into War Z lol. That will show you the difference.
