They come in all shapes and sizes, ladies and gentlemen, I bring you, ZOMBIES!
They should have a lot of health, but very low speed, when they attack they deal and annoying poison damage that persists for half a minute, they swarm in large numbers, you can shoot their limbs off leaving them a crawling wreck on the floor, or a limbless freak! Some run, some walk, but all bite, get close enough and you'll get a hole in your neck.

Zombies can be a cool idea, but not for this game. Zombies don't have to be in every single game on this planet. There are so many games out there that have zombies, why not find one? DayZ is good.

COD gets enough bashing. I enjoy it for what it is, a mindless shooter. It does what it does well and doesn't have aspirations above it's station. And I enjoyed the zombies mode in it, again mindlessly unloading a gun in to a shambling, or rapidly sprinting, corpse can be enjoyable. I just think it has been done to death in other games and we already have something similar with the Ark Falls, but that is a gripe for a different thread.

Edit- Fair point about those other games they are excellent. I just think too many people use COD as an example of what a game shouldn't be when the only thing that is really wrong with the game itself ( not the player base) is that it is essentially one expansion pack after another.

Actually we used it in the beta as well when it was in it's prime. Not many got to see it in its full glory. The recent nerf was absolutely unnecessary. Such a useless weapon now /:

Funny thing is, WE ALREADY HAVE A FORM OF ZOMBIES...

MUTANTS are in the game! Simple as that, Trion will not add something so similar in traits... zombies are slow and pose no real threat unless in hordes and we all have rocket launchers, guided missles, and grenades along with detonators. Too simple, wont work.

I wouldnt mind seeing a halloween event, but only in the weeks leading up to the holiday not yr round. (just a thought)

as has been said already, got play a zombie game instead then it really isnt needed here.......mutants are as close as we need to get to zombies imo

although as the poster above me suggested, as some sort of halloween event on the otherhand that might be fun as some of the emergency random events but again NOT as a permanent thing
