I pray that aircraft doesn't happen. World of Warcraft's developers said (if I remember correctly) that they greatly regretted adding flying mounts. They force people off of the ground and basically ruin the in-game travel experience. Without world PVP in Defiance, it's not as bad, but it still sucks when everyone's in the air and the ground is barren. I'm totally fine with additional forms of ground transport, though.
