My characters which I deleted (because I remade them) are still on my Player Hub page. Trust me "deleted" stuff is never really deleted.

I maybe not be playing on Pc but on Ps3. Still I dont like those kind of things happening to such a nice game so am bumping so it can be noticed by dev teams.

    ^Bumping^

Yeah.. this is bogus as all get out and needs to be stopped ASAP. This is the kind of thing that totally destroys a game for all the honest players out there.

And I agree.. PERMANENT account deletion is an appropriate punishment.

I really do not understand why something like isn't caught on the server?

I mean... they know the max damage each gun can do in this game. Which are pretty flat values.

So such a hack should immediately raise red flags at TRION!

Very poor management and coding practices, if they can't even catch simple stuff like this.

From the looks of it, I don't think it was done server-side, but more client side. I won't go into the details, but exploiting some coding tricks and you can get some crazy effects like this with little effort.. if you know how to code. Frankly, it would make the game too boring for me, which is why I'd never do it.

I'd like a response from Trion to atleast confirm that you are aware of this and are taking measures to prevent this in the future.
It is most likely that this player is using a game hack from a subscription site that goes by the name AritificalAiming. Apparantly the hack includes a 'uberdamage' feature which one shot kills any enemy (yes arkfall crystals too)/pvp player.
Devs should definitely look into fixing this. I guess the client tells the server how much damage the players bullet(s) do and the hack just increases this value?

You can't very well expect Trion to sit around monitoring all players at all times. Not even Microsoft does that for 360 hackers it can take them week to root one out lol.

Ofcourse the hack is done Client side lol.

It's how someone can hack the Client, boost the damage of a weapon Beyond it's Maximum limit and the game servers just accepting these illegal damage requests, without raising immediate red flags!

This just goes to show TRION hasn't put ANY anti-cheat messures in their game AT ALL!

As this is very basic anti-cheat stuff that is easy to detect and Block!
