I can pretty much guarantee that no mmo is ever released perfect, and i can also guarantee that no MMO like Defiance has ever been released. There are things that could have never been imagined to go wrong, therefore, takes longer to fix. "Path of Exile" is a more traditional game, therefore, past games have given those 18 people more experience. I agree that the bugs need to be fixed, but there is this little thing that some people seem to forget, its called patience.
I don't always fight for whats right... i fight to be whats left.

Let's get the first thing out of the way, the team working on bug fixing is not the same team making new content, which really shouldn't come as a surprise.

Second, please, oh please, keep in mind that no MMO launches without problems, the game has it's problems but compared to a lot of other MMO launches, it's, well, decent. It's not the best launch but it is what it is.

On a side note, it seems that you somehow are experiencing every single bug imaginable in the game, most of you're bugs with weapons I've never even heard of.
I know how a game is launched and who is in charge of what...

I have personally experienced every bug I have mentioned.

I do not care who is working on bugs and who isn't anyway, I have played free games with teams who actively fix things that need fixing. That is the service you paid for and are not recieving.

Of course they are working on it, it's their ***** on the line.

How many Trion employees does it take to fix in a broken data recorder?

If you are honestly getting each of those bugs in every play session, I think you should accept that you are not meant to play this game, and go get your money back.

No one is forcing you to stay, and no one is forcing you to continue "paying the wages" of Trion. You have a choice. Go make that choice.

I agree with the OP on most points. I have invested a lot of time into this game and think it COULD be great.

The PvP is a joke at the minute it's practically impossible to complete pursuits as the reset after every match.

Just because you haven't encounter the bugs doesn't mean the rest of us haven't.

I really want to continue playing this game but am finding it hard to as pursuits are bugged which means I have no real incentive of playing or even attempt trying them as I know it won't register or will just reset.

Example - I am still waiting as is a lot of other people for the fix of the bugged data recorder in Marin. The first patch was to "fix" this but it seems anyone who picked it up before the patch has got screwed.

The only reason why I'm still playing is because of my clan if I wasn't in it I'd have probably finished with the game a while ago. Just hoping Trion will address these issues in the near future.

Yes, he does. But do they justify enough to make his blood boil?

People declaring this the buggiest launch ever or so buggy that they are rage-quitting? PC gaming must have become nirvana since I left it, or perhaps none of you let have ever played a Bethesda game.

OP, go play Path of Exile and have a good time.

    PvP isn't fun without pursuits?

    Where do I begin?

Over the last few days I have been raging because, as you all know, the game is extremely bugged. I expect every game I play to have some bugs, they are to be expected, BUT THIS IS A JOKE!

Every aspect of this game is bugged in one way or another.

WEAPONS - Change mods randomly, reload twice on EGO discharge, do different amounts of damage every day, change appearance irregularly and many combinations of these annoyances.

VEHICLES - Wheels decide to dissapear while driving, stats reset after hours of progress, blow up after running over two people? ( I know this was changed with the patch but whoever came up with that idea doesn't deserve to play the game. )

PvP - Stats do not register for pursuits and reset every game ( an easy fix ), spawning system is diabolical, shotguns are extremely overpowered, cloak is overpowered, pursuits appear for maps that are not available, hackers have penetrated the hackshield already and last but not least, winning a shadow war results in a loss and vice versa. <--- not fixing this is just lazy.

MISSIONS - Players are sometimes not able to interact wth objectives, players can often complete the mission without the completion registering, cut scenes frequently bug out, subtitles do the same.

ADDITIONAL PURSUITS - Data recorders are often bugged out or invisible, pursuits that involve killing enemies in certain areas just don't work for some players ( like todays radio tower pursuit ), as stated before CAPTURE AND HOLD IS NOT IN THE GAME TRION!!

    SOCIAl - Enough said.

Never before have I had to take time away from playing a game to write a post this big about how much it is doing my head in.

WE ARE PAYING YOUR WAGES, GET A GRIP!

Today I watched a live stream of a Trion employee playing the game and having the time of his life, makes my blood boil knowing i've paid for this.

A perfect example of how a dev team should be is Path of Exile.
18 ****ING people update this game with meaningful content, frequently.

18 people outdo you in every way possbile, and the hilarious thing is, Path of Exile is free..

Pull your finger out Trion...Stop updating the game with outfits and purchasable crap and start changing this game for the better.

Are you no better than the other money grabbing, idiotic, ignorant developers out there?

    We shall see...
you lost me at Path of Failure. such an awful game

The "fun" part of gaming for the modern gamer is increasing numbers.

Achievement points, stats in the character window, stats on your weapon.

Some people have no interest in the game or having fun, just in having the biggest numbers imaginable.

It's sad, but evidence is mounting that it's true.

That really isn't your choice though, is it? Fixing something isn't as easy as clicking on it, clicking a big "Fix this" button, and sending out a patch.

It takes time to write new code, or edit existing code, to fix the problem. Sometimes that also means changing code in other parts of the game that you wouldn't think is necessary. After that, it has to go through in-house testing to make sure it's not creating any bugs somewhere else. After that, it has to be approved to be sent out to us. They're also not going to release a patch to simply fix a broken data recorder either. They'll wait until other stuff is fixed.

There are other steps involved, and that's all assuming everything goes well.

To sum it up: You may not pay to be patient, but get over it and be patient anyways. Would you rather it be fixed properly or they rush through it just to have to fix other bugs afterward?
