Why do people care?

I don't see the big fuss about the beta being only two days long. As far as I'm concerned we're testing the servers on how they'll hold with a pretty good amount of players on at one time. I don't think PS3 has had any testing done, if they did I haven't seen a video of it. IGN has a xbox video and i'm sure the people playing with him were Trion Devs or IGN staff. So that's players on the xbox and they could have been testing.


People shouldn't be flipping mad, of course I would like more days for the beta to get some game time as well but people don't really seem to care that this is a Stress test for the xbox.

People (some / most) aren't reasonable. They don't have to be, as it's not a requirement for humans.

The problem with that is that the peeps that are ****** off can't take your stress test argument seriously because of the timing of our beta.Plus it has given a few trolls around the web a really good tool to use in the "they got a bigger slice than you" baiting.

having played all the PC beta's and being apart of the alpha... i think its a bad move on trion for allowing ps3 so many days.... i've looked over the containt which will be in the beta, and the 6 days... its 3 to many... dont get me wrong, the game is huge... just with my knowledge... it might leave ps3 player base upset at the lack of content which was the basic content.. for all the beta tests to date on pc, which might leave a test of a unfinished game... if they havent took part of any beta's or lucky enough to alpha test it, considering some people might take " BETA " as a literal term this close to launch.

For those 360 players who are annoyed by the fact that ps3 has 6 days.. i wouldnt be to upset, from what i can think that this is PS3's very first beta... = all 3 PC Beta weekends... so i take it that it might be behind in its server side issues.

i know this is also 360's first beta, as well.. but the PC/360 share the same architecture, unlike the PS3
and as i've stated before, and as anyone can go look in the general chat. at anyone whos played the PC beta, We or i was going to buy it on PC up until my involvement of all pior Beta's / alpha testing, completely feel that its a 360 title first... and has bin port'd to PC.... then to Ps3

so those 360 players who may be concerned... i wouldnt be.. i love my pc... but i have to be honest and admit you can play it with mouse and keyboard... but changing a few things and running your pc with the 360 controller makes the games " UI 100 times more bare-able "

they really dont have a bigger slice... same slice.... they have more time... probably will be left with a stale taste in their mouth... with the beta's content only being about... maybe a few hours worth... if anything... basically its the beta from back in early feb... just on consoles... so nothing really to brag about... they've probably polished out all the bugs in that small content to make it better for anyone like me who's experianced it, but there isnt enough content to play for 6 days.. at all

and as i've stated above.... to me it looks like PS3 is gona have to cram 6 days of server side beta testing... to test it thru PSN.... while PC/360 have similar architecture, so thats as easy as plugging in a few things here and there, and " Wa - Lah "

so to be honest im alittle more scared for PS3 as it is this close to launch

I was thinking of the proverbial pie split in a time sense rather than content,so as much sense as your comment makes i don't think they will change there stance.And of the complaints i have seen it is the days given that is most peoples problem,if it was on the weekend i think we would have at least half the number of angry posts.

i can agree to that.... i beleive the problem is... trion coming in alittle late for MS to fallow thru on its QA which is required to post content on live... and of the beta being held so close to launch... they'd need atleast a week incase any major problem with server might have bin over looked until now.

Sh*t happens sometimes, but as they've stated over and over in live streams, and in interviews that Microsoft has bin quite cooperative.. i beleive the only time MS will dabble into trions affairs will be during DLC release, while game/ TV cross over is handled all by trion. and i have a good feeling DLC wont reflect on the show itself... just added goodies and Game side only Lore / Content... so it wont effect that aspect of the game atleast....
