imho its more of a stress on the servers then the ps3.

because everyone is at work, most beta testers will hit at the same times, evening. you get 80% of testers within a few hours, rther then spread over the week

i dont know.... i'd agree alittle more with that... if there was a time frame.. in which all platforms were connected to the server at once.... but there isnt... pc ends on the 24th while xbox starts on the 25th... there server will only be hit with 2 platforms at a time... but like i said.. i'd agree more if the pc beta ended on the night of the 25th.. giving them a 5-6 hour window of server information while all 3 were active

im not upset at all also maybe the other reason why is because the gears of war judgement game comes out this tuesday and who cares if it is two days only the game comes a week after im sure you can wait just a few more days s**t ive been waiting for this game over a year now if not longer patience people patience

unless they run off different servers.

i doubt they run on different servers... i'd think they'd run all 3 and just allocate each platform to its related section.... or if they are ran on different servers.. i'd have to think Ps3 would be solo'd out... only because PC/360 have almost identical architecture, and it would be cost effective to run it that way... my all means im not suggesting pc and 360 users will inter-connect just share the same host server.. while being allocated to each corresponding platforms section

Working for a host that provides platforms to video game companies they most likely have server farms distributed through various data centers to handle different amounts of load regionally. These farms are most likely a distributed environment that run together to power the virtual environment with redundant machines running in parallel to handle spikes, drops, or even hardware failures.

That said the environments are still probably separated.

Watching one of the IGN videos on it (An hour long preview) The developer the IGN player was playing with mentioned that PC is with PC, 360 is with 360, and PS3 is with PS3. They have the ability to link them all, but SyFy didn't want all three to be linked.
