Good budget chat mic needed for Defiance

This guy has it right, I have a wireless mic by Microsoft but I will be getting out my wired on as the battery's don't last long in the wireless one.

Still have my chat pad but will have to find the headset somewhere. If I can't get the PX5 mic to sort itself out then this'll be the next option. Thanks.

Anybody recommend one? I get the feeling I'm really going to need it! Got Turtle Beach PX5's that are great for sound but the mic has always been poor. Just need a cheap mic that actually works under pressure.

trittons are good but if they still sell them i used to have x11s turtle beach and they lasted 2 years of being a ragdoll but my tritton 720+ were only 280 and the mic is great and its wired

go get a turtle beach thats is what I use. I love it and it work's like a charm.

I'm going to try and sort out my Turtle Beach mic, and if that doesn't work then I'll have to go for a cheap wired headset. Thank god my chatpad still works though!

Too much echo at my end and other people complaining that my mic isn't clear. It's been a while since I've used it for chat so I'm going to try it again - There's got to be a least one setting that works.

I bought a set of Tritton Warhead gaming head phones (completely wireless!), they come with two batteries each last like 16 hours, one charges while the other is in use. The quality is great and sense you can remove the mic you can use them as theater headsets too. However they are far from being cheap.

The Tritton Detonators seem to work really well for a non-wireless solution.

I can highly recommend my Turtle beach xp510s.. But I'm getting the new xp7s so They might be obsolete once I test those babys out.
