The Tritton Detonators seem to work really well for a non-wireless solution.
Just looked at them on Amazon. I'll keep an eye on the price. Thanks.

Just the turtle beaches that are 50$ are perfect... been using them for years and no problems and mic and sound is great. I just started using the bluetooth though.

Try hards? Never have been, never will be. Always been great a shooting games either tds or fps. Turtle beach and the other headsets only give you even more of an advantage over other players that don't own them. Can't count how many countless times on cod I have killed people by simply hearing them running or walking behind me only to spin around and kill them when they are going for a knife or something.

Some models have hdmi support yes. It would be best to look some of their products up on their website to see which best suites you. As for the big puffy ears, it's for both comfort and Sound isolation. Sucks you can't use them, they really make games sound alot better, all the pvp advantages aside, It makes games sound incredible. Better sound than any tv would give you. As for surround sound systems, I would rather stick with my turtle beach. No one else has to hear my explosions and gunfire :P

I have glasses and have no problems with my turtle beach DX11's they as USB powered from the Xbox 360 and use a standard audio out adapters the red and white ones they attach to your TV. My set has the DSS processor that simulates virtual 5.1 surround sound they are awesome brilliant for pesky tickers on gears horde and even borderlands 2 there more expensive though, this uses an optical out cable as it uses a digital signal to process the 5.1 sound.

But the standard head phones are so easy to set up and comfortable with a built in mic there really good.

I got a turtle beach x31 wireless for 25 bucks from gamestop and I like them. I guess there not as good as some really expensive ones but way better than the one ear xbox ones. I have Razor Carcharias for the pc and a set of wireless Logitech 5.1 headsets for pc as well and the x31's are fairly close to the quality of those.
