Would be funny if people recorded during this time (which i'm sure alot are going too) and posted that on the 22nd. I know even if the NDA was still in place when the xbox beta came, I would record it and upload it onto many gaming forums. Build my own hype for the game.Originally Posted by Asheki

Well you might not want to upload it WHILE the NDA is in effect, because that could end poorly should they take notice of it. Beyond the NDA, entirely possible, I guess the problem is just about the idea of misconception that people have that a BETA phase is a demo of the completed, launch game.. Which generally if you ever encounter any glitch or bug that may hinder you.. or look plain weird. Even if its patched soon after, some people will still consider it the 'finished product' somehow.

Yeah, I also think it's more common now at days for games to use beta as advertisment and not for the true purpose of debugging the game. I do however believe Trionworlds are using it the correct way, or for both advertising and debuggingI guess the advertising part of MMO beta's are what have made people think it's the finished products. It's a new norm now to buy yourself into a beta, and therefor they believe it'sa finished product? Hard to answer as I can't seem to understand people that easy assume such.
Pretty much both way, seeing as they'd even advertised the Alpha. But all in all I'd prefer to view a beta as a means of debugging the game as much as possible anyway, which is why that every beta I participate into has me noting plenty of stuff.

They said when ps3 beta is released you can stream , they said it on the last stream. So people can upload videos tomorrow.(Of the ps3 version ) You cant show the alpha
