it's called bait and switch. if there was going to be actual episode missions for each show they would have had to been made far in advance. looks like that did not happen! you cant do level design, animated and scripted sequences, and voiceovers, all at the last minute on a weekly basis.

Actually, I suppose each episode should coincide with an episode on TV, so we actually got one episode in advance (not counting the prologue episode).

Well since the TV show was recorded months ago, it seems like Trion would have plenty of time to add episode quests.....BUT.... I am thinking the devs are hip deep in alligators right now with all the bugs problems to put in weekly quests.

    Maybe if the dust settles

The missions are vaguely within the story of the show....

episode1 about the Armistice day celebrations

    episode2 about the battles

Maybe not as connected as some might have hoped,, but it does kinda make sense....

I was let down tremendously by not having proper episode missions with cut scenes. Already im starting to see a gap appear from the game to the show. I hope im wrong but I hate pvp and being forced to take part in order to complete the pursuit was an annoyance. Not to menton how bad the latest patch is im not very optimistic about defiances gaming side, though the show was fantastic

I hate to see this post get buried so I will post to bump, but I was expecting/led to believe that the "episode missions" that I did for the first week were to be the norm. Was this wrong and now these crappy pursuit thing are the missions?

Sledge any help here? Let us know.

umm i know people don't really care about AJ's you tube review but he did make a fairly decent point. season 1 is cut and done if the show gains speed and they open a season 2 then they can probably put in episode missinos that can affect the next weeks episode but as it stands it would seem that these pursuits and "Events" are all were gonna get

I am aware that the season is in the can, but so will season 2 before they air it so then how would any mission affect the show. I just wanted the plecebo effect. You know give us the missions, but alredy have the positive outcome result in the show and let me believe I had something to do with it.
