end game defiance is nothing like the tutorial. dark matter are nothing like the mutants and skitterlings in the tutorial.
lmao, are you serious!? All the stuff you metioned plays just like the last one you did, youve done one, then you did them all.
Also Dark Matter is NOTHING like the mutants? really? lol fanboy to the max huh? This game got lucky to get a score that it did from IGN of all people. I mean were talkin IGN! The people who consistently give COD 9.0s!The same people who gave Dragon's Dogma penalties for "Not being like Skyrim". Calm down with the fanboyism, the game in its current state aint all that good.

Movies have its own genre. Some critics favor comedies some action while other horror and so on. Whether you compare it or still the criteria for rating MMOS are not same as say single player games or RTS.

It's not a even a matter of trust. You read the body of a review if you care about what people say regarding a game. Look for facts and decide how you feel about it. If you read opinions and go from there "This review says the pvp is good, hot damn I love good pvp" then that's just stupid. Reviewers don't have to like the same experience you do, there just have to be reasons backing up their opinions that are accessible to you.

And what is with the people who keep pointing towards Dark Matter as some end-all be-all of difficulty? They're stupid simple to kill.
a pair of dark matter snipers have never instantly killed you? lucky.

You find PvE a bore and PvP to be "respectable that goes a long way". Most of the game is PvE. The PvP is largely broken still. That just makes no sense at all.

hardly being a fanboy. i find the game boring right now but unlike you vehement trolls i'm reserving my final judgement until we've seen exactly what is in the paid dlc. only when i have seen the complete game will i voice my opinion on the complete game.

This sounds so insane to me. DLC should not complete a game. This is insane.

Let's get more specific here: thinking that Duke Nukem Forever was anything but a travesty shows some pretty poor judgement. If someone came up to me and said it was a good game, I'm not going to assume that they're probably an expert on video games despite the genre.

If you want to trust that person to rate another genre for you - fine. But a disconnect with reality is a disconnect with a reality.
