defiance tv show.... really?

do all pc gamers cry like this?? it was a pilot episode it was setting up the story so u will know more about the chars and the situation they are in 1st honestly u cant just b thrown in a show with out knowing anyone or anything and just seeing blood shed and only action that's lacking so much, and like some people have said just bcuz its a sci-fi doesn't mean there needs to b spaceships and stuff all over the place either A dont watch it if ur going to b a baby about it or B watch the 1st season then cry and stop watching about it.

The walking dead's first episode was boring but look at what its become suck it up

Revolution does feel more post apocalyptic than Defiance to be fair and that doesn't even have aliens.

Defiance was far better though.Cant stand the tripe that is Revolution.

Remember that tv show these days are made for people with short attention spans (Americans), so don't expect anything amazing with this tv show. Sure it's okay, but most of the kiddies in this thread think it's amazing and the best thing ever ... this is an example as to why their parents should have worn a condom.

I'll watch the 2nd episode and hope it's more interesting, but there are far better TV shows out there, than this one.

I started watching Revolution when it started and hoped it would be good, but I got really bored with it fast. The girl was so whiney that I honestly wanted her offed asap. I have higher hopes for defiance and enjoyed the pilot. I will reserve final judgement until the 4th or 5 episode as most new series take a while to define the characters before the story really picks up. Throwing that bit of intrigue at the end was quite interesting to me. What is it that she wants so bad that she is willing to throw a whole town to the (saber)wolves?

As for a game cross over, I want to see Irrisa and Nolan in a car driving down the road with Irrisa behind the wheel and have her run over some raiders to which Nolan turns to her and says, "Your driving is getting much better!"

Or something along the lines of "Seriously, where did you get your roller license." an obvious reference to the pursuit lol. Honestly i think the tv show references to the game are awesome and really clever. Like when nolan says "you don't know what we went through to get that" as the raiders are stealing the gem. the best part is that if you'd never played the game you wouldn't think anything of it and would never know its a reference to the game.

The pilot was just that, a pilot. It felt a bit disjointed and had some jarring cuts but it was okay. I liked the kind of... political fighting on many different levels. I was glad to see there's a significant amount of tension with regards to Nolan, and frankly, I'm also happy to see that he's kind of tired of everyone trying to treat him like someone special just because of his military history.
