Are you using new weapons? weapons with maxed XP don't contribute to skill xp

well it didn't to begin with but i time traveled to the future and got this overpowered 600 TB/S modem and grafted that ***** to it then i had to go and get this special type of ink that couldn't be made here on earth but on the moon.. so i had to time travel back to 1969 (?) and stow away on the Apollo 11 (? damn this is being a history lesson today ) shuttle. the astronaut taking the first steps on the moon wasn't Neil Armstrong.. it was me.

so after i got the minerals i needed to make this special ink i then went and grafted a screen made of diamonds that i got when i had to travel to the year 2525... and let me tell you it was a ***** because MAN WAS NOT ALIVE...just a bunch of weird little bunny looking things.. any who i got that all together and now HERE I AM!!! and im ROCKING YOU LIKE A HURRICANE!!! >.>

wait wat... i have to LVL my weapon to get weapon skill XP? i thought i just had to use the weapon type.....right? ( not trolling )

Correct. Once your weapon has hit its max level, you may as well buy a new one and start leveling it up. Which means until your skill level is 20, you're consistently not using the weapon you want to. Its infuriating!

ok i know i have to switch weapons once my weapons XP is maxed but what i read ( my interpretation of it) is im not gaining any weapon skill lvls UNTIL the weapon im using is totally maxed out on XP. I.E i wont get pistol skill XP for using my wolverine and switching to wolfhound until my wolverine is maxed out on XP
