They mentioned a lot of things in Dev streams which have not been delivered :\
For example, 1 hour IGN preview with dev a couple months back mentioned 50 man encounters and guild vs guild pvp.
Hell, its got to the point where things from finalized patch notes are not in the game with no news, while other fixed not mentioned make their way in no problem (shark patch).
That said, I really do enjoy the game but hardly find any trust left in the defiance team. Although the data recorders do offer great lore and tie in with the show, others have a point of the world not be the most interesting place. This game honestly didn't even really feel like an MMO environment to me until you reach SF for a texture change (considering lack of social tools).
Running around the same map for weeks on end looking for data recorders will become tiresome. At the very least there could be a unique mob experience associated with them (why are there so little unique named elites?) to make the chore less dry.
still waiting on that meaningful worthwhile content. I finished the story and basically said..wtf do i do now?
Here you go:
The Forbes one is an interesting read:

Side missions...some of the worst missions ever to grace video games with weak rewards
Pursuits... OMG ACHIEVEMENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really poor excuse for content
Co-op.....No challenge here, all pursuits done in the first run without even knowing what the pursuits actually were
PvP....Sure, let me equip TWO shotguns and cloak and show you how PvP is done!!!!
Oh wait...WEEKLY EPISODE MISSIONS! This is a great idea....except this week doesn't have missions and the newest thing we got was NEW DATA RECORDERS OMG CONTENT LOL and a couple of pursuits.
I feel like they took their business model from 38 studios.
I wonder how much of the 80 million went to salary. Considering how much they cribbed from borderlands and the absolute lack of content and replayability, I have a seriously hard time believing they spent the money on actual game development.
