Is it just me or is anyone else just pissed the hell off that (big) gaming companies can just feed the gaming community with misleading information and then “get” us to buy a sub par piece of garbage?? SWTOR, TERA Online, TSW, GW2, etc… Something REALLY needs to be done already. I think the main problem is the fact that these gaming companies are just not held accountable for these practices – not regulated by Congress or any other countries’ legislative bodies like other industries are. Perhaps it’s time that we, the gaming community, start speaking up and demanding excellence and not accepting garbage. Why should we drop $60 for a piece of halfassed crap? It just seems to me that the current trend is for large gaming companies to crap out garbage, supply misinformation in their advertising and then when we get excited and “open it up,” we accept it and explain it away as, “oh, it was just released.” Or “Oh, well, there are a few bugs but it’s ok, they’re ‘working’ on it.” That’s why there is a “closed beta” as part of the SDLF (Software Development Life Cycle) to iron out this stuff. I have a Masters in Information Security and if anyone tried to pass off software without going through the proper testing, they would be out of work faster than a Quantum computation.

But these are my thoughts on this issue and I’m sure there are other ppl just as “annoyed,” to say the least, about this. Even fanbois will grow tired after defending the company that they love and see they receive no love in return….

So you're claiming it was incredibly easy because you had a good group to coop with.

Yeah, what an awful experience that must have been for you.

That's all theyre good for though. 'pvp' is much better in other games of a similar type and the co-ops are so god damn easy why bother?

I'd love to play the co op for challenge and rewards but there aren't any worth anything :/

If you aren't having fun running around shooting stuff in this game, I really have no idea why you're still playing it. Or why you played it for longer than 5 hours in the first place. Pursuits are fun little extras - but if they are the only thing keeping you on the game, you're probably better off playing Farmville.

Claiming to get all the pursuits in every coop on the first try without even trying is a ridiculous statement.

LOL you can't be serious. I had no idea what data recorders were before I did co-op. My random group did however. Why is that hard to grasp? Boss kills....hmm. Let's take the Matron for example; SHOOT THE BIG BUG UNTIL IT BURROWS.....RUN AROUND TILL SHE COMES UP. You can't be serious right? WOW SO HARD FKADJHRAHDRJOAHRJIAS. She's no different than the Arkfall versionl

The PvP is terrible and the co-op has VERY little reason to do outside of pursuits (OMG CONTRACT DAILIES GOGOGO). I think YOU'RE doing it wrong.

Agreed with jnt, if you actually look at the pursuits for the coop prior to going in its easy to find all data recorders. Kills within certain times is fairly easy if you have a group who has brains to look and shoot at obvious weakspots.

Even IF you manage to miss a few things its nothing a second run cant accomplish. After the pursuit is done the daily is the only reason to go back.

One of my favorite things to do in MMOs is to search up what bosses drop cool items and go farm that instance for it. Although the defiance loot system seems like it does not encourage the loot grind, the current alternative leaves little incentive to go back to an instance with no rewarding boss encounters. I mean, even if there was chances to drop instance specific headgear or outfits it would add more

Running instances at the moment is fairly similiar to running D3 during the starting months before i quit (farm elites hoping for an abysmally small % for your epics and legendary).

Pretty sure the upsetting part of Defiance is how it's about as demanding and rewarding as Farmville.

Yes, silly me enjoying the game itself. How completely backwards of me. Clearly it is more entertaining to not play and complain about it.

I think I played several of the coop maps two or three times before I even bothered to notice coop even had pursuits. If I want a shiny new virtual hat, I'll pay attention to them. Otherwise the goal is go in, kill things, leave.

Didn't you previously claim you actually liked this game? Because yeah, that's obvious.
